RAK Media supports vulnerable persons

[Juba, South Sudan, TCT] In a gesture to put smile on the faces of the vulnerable persons in the country before Christmas, RAK Media group considerately donated assortment of food and non-food items to three institutions in Juba.

[Juba, South Sudan, TCT] In a gesture to put smile on the faces of the vulnerable persons in the country before Christmas, RAK Media group considerately donated assortment of food and non-food items to three institutions in Juba.

The institutions that received the items were Juba Teaching Hospital, Juba Orphanage and Daughters of Mary Immaculate Training Center as part of the company’s solidarity in supporting the vulnerable people.

The pledge was the first of its kind for Juba Teaching Hospital while the rest of the two institutions have been receiving from Rak Media since the initiative begun.

In a media briefing during the donation, Bol Madut Ayii, the Legal Manager for RAK Media Group said the donation was one of the company’s gestures of giving back services to the vulnerable.

“ we need to share the little we have with the vulnerable groups, this is a good gesture that our company normally does to our people,” Ayii said.

He revealed that RAK Media would continue to support the vulnerable groups in the country adding that the vulnerable were part of the community and they needed to be helped.

The Director of Juba Teaching Hospital, Makir Isaac appreciated RAK Media Group for donating to the sick people in the hospital.

“We as the administration of Juba Teaching Hospital are happy for what we have witnessed today and we thank the management of RAK Media Group, let God give them more,” Makir said.

He revealed that many sick people in the hospital, have few mattresses and are not enough whenever the number of patients increase saying, with the donation of these mattresses it is going to help a lot.

The hospital received 300 mattresses, 300 mosquito nets, 10 cartons of biscuits 100 Jericans of cooking oil, 100 packages of rice and 200 packages of beans.

DMI Training Center received 200 bags of rice, 200 packages of beans, 200 bars of soap, 100 mosquito nets, 100 Jericans of cooking, 10 cartons of biscuits and 2 sacks of cloths.

Meanwhile Juba Orphanage received 100 packages of rice, 100 packages of bean, 100 bar soaps, 50 Jeri cans of cooking oil, 5 cartons of biscuits and 1 sack of cloths.
