Religious leaders of South Sudan are calling for mercy among people in the country

[Juba, South Sudan, CRN] Working for mercy has to begin with the actors who are catalysts for all communities, says President of Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference or SCBC Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala.
 
He was speaking during the opening of three-day conference under the theme: “Mercy discussions on compassion and forgiveness towards peaceful and cohesive South Sudan” in Juba.
 
Sheikh Juma Saied Ali, Chairperson of the South Sudan Muslim community criticizes killing of people mostly children.
 
Bishop Arkangelo Wani Lemi of the African Inland Church advises everybody to choose to do good.
 
He recalls how his father was killed, but has chosen to forgive and love the killer and the community he comes from.
 
The religious leaders were speaking during a discussion on compassion and forgiveness towards a peaceful and cohesive South Sudan.
